Playgrounds after the rain.

~~I love playgrounds after the rain.

~~The air smells crispy clean, the grass is a tad cold for the bum, the monkey bars and the tic-tac-toe rolls are dripping wet, the swings swing a puddle of water on its seats, the slides run a trail of raindrops, and best of all, we just get to play at the playground cos it's no longer raining!;)

~~the story--5kids, the eldest maybe 12 and the littlest of them all maybe 5. all super excited, hyper and ready to play, when they saw the playground! a Guardian watches over, while also playing dead and running around with them, all the while not being self-conscious of herself and realising that i was watching her.haha;)

~~the kids brought their badminton rackets. 4 rackets to be exact. but only 1 shuttlecock. haha. so, at first, there was a bit of power struggle, as to who gets the shuttlecock. but all was resolved in a matter of seconds, when 1 boy started to play the slides. and fortunately, 2 of his brothers followed suit. phew. a close brush with brotherly squabbles which could have ended with someone crying;)

~~they ran, they screamed, they shouted, they played guns, they played with my umbrella, they came down the slides, they went back up! they circled the playground, they played the swing, they played the animal-like see-saws, they got off the see-saws and just shook em and made sure they stayed moving while making the other see-saws move as well haha, they played badminton with some Chinese kids from around the neighbourhood, they lost the game haha, they got wet from the slides, and suddenly..3 of them needed to pee.

~~i wonder why. could it be because of the wet slides?hmm.

~~so, off the kids went, back home, to pee. and to get icecream.haha.

~~note: the smallest of them all, was also the roundest, chubbiest, cutest, pudgiest and cuddlest kid i've ever seen! it was only natural for me to just hug him, hug him, hug him, smother him with kisses, pick him up, swing him around (though he's a teeny weenie bit heavy) and chase after him, just to watch his bum jiggle up&down!hehe;)

~~the guardian asked me what if all 5kids happened to be my kids?

~~well, i would teach them first to play with each other and look out after each other. then i'd split the bunch in 2; my husband would man 1group, and i would man the other.haha. then all hell will break loose!

~~so, lesson for today..

~~make sure u dont take your shower BEFORE you go to the playground. because when you go there with 5kids in hand, expect to sweat as if you're playing THE basketball game of your life.

~~game on, people.
